he purpose is to help those less fortunate whom have a need that is usually not resolved  or available through or from any other resources.

These people could be considered as those whom have fallen through the cracks.  Good examples from the past are:

  • Recently, a couple on a very limited fixed income had the good fortune for the wife to have a highly specialized operation performed by a renowned surgeon.  They made the arrangements for transport from Chino Valley to Phoenix with the understanding that the outpatient procedure could be done the same day, and they could return home.  However this did not  turn out to be the case since the wife had to be hospitalized.  Unfortunately, the husband had no means to stay at a hotel in Phoenix and no one to feed his farm animals at home.  MTSR came to the rescue and covered cab face back to his farm.**

  • A young man who had been on special medications for several years to counteract a brain injury was finally able to cease taking them.  He was really looking forward to the day when his driver's license would be re-issued after he received a medical clearance.  Unfortunately, all medical bills had pretty much left him in a state of poverty and couldn't scrape together the $105 necessary for his license.  MTSR made it happen.**
