VEEP SPEAKS:

                                Our family had a great time during our nine day vacation on Maui in September.                          Spectacular sunsets, many side trips including one to the blow hole on the North East side of the island.

         We (Gary and sons Kelly and Chris) spent a day cruising the island on Harley Davidson motorcycles
 with Linda and Erin (Kelly’s wife) following up the rear with camera and food in hand.

   We ran into several wild burros, well they were pretty tame and friendly because it appears they have been                             handfed by island tourist.  This burro was so friendly she tried to get into our jeep.  After we came back from                          our hike down the trail to the ocean, we found this (mamma) burro knew where the food was, because she                           took a bite out of our Styrofoam cooler to get to the food.

Maui has great waterfalls, windsurfing, snorkeling, rainbows, beaches, you name it, there was a lot to see and  we had fun.

We even had time to take in the Maui county fair and the local Peggy Sue’s 11^th Annual hotrod car show.

But, it’s great to be home and we’ll see you at the November 8^th Club meeting,
